Merry Christmas!

First ski

This was the first of many many trips up to Hollyburn this winter, and we are pleased with the Chariot (luckily, Anna is too). I made sure I was towing Anna for these pictures, but Mike and Libby seemed to do most of the work this year.

If you're going to San Francisco...

... bring Grannie along! Anna had a great time hanging out with her Gran while Mum attended the AGU conference. She also didn't seem to mind the on-site daycare as much as we did. We had fun seeing old Vancouver friends and Anna's cousin Samantha, Uncle Jarrod and Auntie Stephanie. The three of us shared a hotel room at the swanky Mark Hopkins and it worked out surprisingly well. Needless to say, we left a nice tip for the cleaning staff when we left.

What made the event even sweeter was a visit from Christina and the chance to meet little Darien.

First snowfall

We woke up to winter's first snowfall and decided a walk to the beach was in order. Snowflakes getting caught in Anna's eyelashes was the best part.
